2020 edit: my statement: Please acknowledge that this song&lyrics portray ableist stigmas towards individuals with NPD, HPD and BPD. Lauren and I did not have these disorders in mind when working on the song, but due to a lack of education and information, we didn&realize how this song&lyrics negatively portray symptoms of those disorders. The people who brought this to my attention aren&saying "Oh, a manipulative person! That MUST mean they&cluster-b!". They&pointing out that the lyrics include harmless cluster-b symptoms (wanting attention, unstable sense of self, having big emotions, putting a confident front to mask internal insecurity, etc.) as negative traits. As a result of our carelessness, a lot of people with those disorders were hurt, targeted, talked down upon, and harassed in response to this song. My fanbase has become unsafe for cluster-b individuals due to the power I gave to a widely popularized and stigmatic perception. This is something I take responsibility for, and I completely regret helping with the production of this song, especially as someone who is cluster-b myself. Cluster-bs are deserving of support and recovery, not being shoved off and dismissed as over-dramatic or attention-seekers. I&extremely sorry for producing and uploading this song, and I promise to be more careful with how topics are portrayed in my music.
