COSMIC CANYON - FIRST POV Take a ride on the all-new Cosmic Canyon water slide at AquaMagis in Plettenberg, Germany! The slide serves as a replacement for the Captain&Canyon water slide which was opened in 2012. The new slide features an insulation and a smaller diameter, making the slide a lot more energy-efficient. Cosmic Canyon can be used in three different ways: Laying on your back, sitting in an inner tube as well as head-first on a mat. Unlike the old slide, the new one is fitted with &light effects: There are plenty of color-changing LED effects inside the slide. Each of them is fitted with a prism, refracting the light and creating an unique light effect. When it comes to the layout of the slide, the new one is very similar to Captain&Canyon as all steel supports were reused for the new attraction. The final double bend however is way more extreme so should to be careful when using a mat or tube.
