How to program remote control key fob on a 2001 Lincoln Navigator

Hi everybody, and welcome to my "stevenofpa" YouTube Channel! This video shows you QUICKLY how to program the remote control keyfob key fob clicker for a 2001 Lincoln Navigator. This procedure works for many other Ford vehicles, including ranger, mustang, explorer, expedition, mountaineer, Lincoln, ford, mercury vehicles. Pretty cool! This script below has many KEYWORDS that can be used in a video like this, however, to save time typing this out again, I just copied this from my other video about doing this procedure on a 2004 Explorer, because it&basically the same. Only difference is that the explorer uses a 4 button remote, where this particular Lincoln only uses a 3 button remote. Neato! Hi everybody. This vehicle is a 2001 Lincoln Navigator, and today I’m setting up a new key fob. I picked these up on Amazon for about $15 for the pair, and here’s the part number for them. So, it’s pretty easy to program these key fobs to the vehicle, and, there’s two ways that this can be done. One way is to use a scan tool, so either the factory Ford scan tool or one of the aftermarket scan tools may have the programming function. But, Ford also provides instructions for programming WITHOUT a scan tool, which is what I’m going to do. It’s a pretty easy procedure, but I’m going to review it first, because there are some time limits which need to be considered, so it’s easier if you read the instructions first BEFORE getting started.
