Install Virtualbox Guest Additions on linux

This tutorial explain how to install Virtualbox Guest Additons on Ubuntu Server with text mode "non-gui installations" based on Virtualbox 5.0.10 and VM Guest installed and running Ubuntu Server 14.04 64Bit. Tools and Software - Xubuntu 14.04 "My host system with kernel 3.19" - Oracle VM Virtualbox 5.0.10 with VBox Extentions - Ubuntu server 14.04 as Guest OS - Kazam "Screen recording" Steps -- Update and Installations 1. Update guest os system $ sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade 2. Install dependency packets $ sudo apt-get install dkms build-essential 3. Mount CD images from Virtualbox menu. Devices - Insert Guest Additions CD Image 4. Mount CD images to VM guest $ sudo mount /dev/sr0 /media/cdrom/ 5.
