Methodology for the appraisal process may change based on the asset being valued, but the end goal is always the same – establishing monetary value. Hotel valuation, a highly specialized process, is different from valuing any other cash flowing real estate as the appraiser must give consideration to four elements: land, business, improvements, and personal property.
