The beautiful town of Ronda is one of the oldest and most visited towns in Spain. Set on an Andalusian mountain plateau, the town of Ronda is just over an hour from Marbella, Costa Del Sol, making it a a great one day trip destination for Costa del Sol visitors. The architecture of Ronda is reflected in its its cobbled streets, old mansions, stone churches, ancestral homes, aristocratic small palaces, whitewashed buildings. The town offers magnificent views of the breathtaking surrounding landscapes in the Serranía de Ronda. Monuments and places of interest: Plaza de Toros de Ronda - Built in 1785 is one of the oldest arena in Spain and considered the birthplace of bullfighting. The Puento Nuevo - also known as the New Bridge is nearly 100 meters high bridge, the main attraction of Ronda and the emblem of the city. Duquesa de Parcent - a beautiful square surrounded by several monuments, the old City Hall and St. Mary Major Church. Plaza del Socorro - A beautiful plaza with bars, restaurants, cafes and shops. Paseo de Ernest Hemingway - a pathway which offers some of the best views of the surrounding landscape. Baños Arabes - best preserved Arabic baths in Spain.
