Israel is a small country, slightly larger than Luxembourg. But in terms of historical significance and biodiversity, it outshines many giants. Although seeing a person with a rifle here is as common as seeing colourful vendors on the streets of Delhi, no one shoots the animals here, no one catches them in nets during their migration, and people even feed them carrots from the veranda. That’s why, as we were told, they’re all here. Is that really true?
